Privacy Policy
This explains what Hboosh collects, why, and how you can control it — across the website and the mobile app, which share the same account and data.
What we collect
Account: email and password (handled by our authentication provider —
we never see or store your raw password).
Profile (optional): display name, bio, and photo, shown publicly if you
list something or message another user.
Listings: whatever you enter to describe a guesthouse or marketplace
item — name, location, price, photos, description, phone number.
Messages: the content of conversations you have through in-app
messaging, visible only to you and the other participant.
Usage: basic counts like listing views and contact clicks, used to show
hosts how their listing is performing and to rank "Popular" listings.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal data to third parties. We don't show your phone number, email, or exact location to anyone unless you list something (which makes your contact phone number visible to interested buyers/guests, same as it appearing on any classifieds site) or message someone directly.
Where it lives
Listings, messages, and account data are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Currency conversion rates are fetched from a third-party exchange-rate API; no personal data is sent to it.
Your choices
You can edit or remove your profile information anytime from your Account page. To delete your account entirely — which removes your listings, profile, favorites, and messages — email support@hboosh.com from the address you signed up with.
Children
Hboosh is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy as the platform grows; the "last updated" date above will change when we do.
